Cat’s eyes ruled the runway at the Chanel Resort 2014 Collection Fashion Show. Karl Lagerfeld, who cooked up a fierce look to complement the Chanel 2014 Resort Collection, which had an A+ in dramatics, was responsible for the striking eye make-up. The make-up artist committed an intense act of ‘beautycide’ when he went for a natural look combined with standout eyes. The electric blue eyeliner, dubbed ‘true blue’, and black eyeliner, clashed in a victorious barrage of unique beauty. The technique used to create the look was to first draw a thick black line up through the crease of the eye and then, to complete the dramatic eye look, an equally thick “true blue” line was drawn beneath the lower lash.
